Toyot has announced a new modification of the Land Cruiser 70 SUV, developed in collaboration with B Medical Systems. It is designed to safely deliver vaccines to remote corners of the planet and is therefore equipped with a special refrigerator.

• The company notes that modern vaccines require special conditions: they must be stored at temperatures between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius. Due to the problematic compliance with these conditions, up to 20% of all vaccines become unusable and disposed of. The reasons for this situation include the difficulties of transportation associated with the lack of road infrastructure.

• Therefore, in the range of modifications of the commercial version of the ToyotLand Cruiser 70 SUV, a special version has appeared, complete with a refrigerator. It contains 400 doses of vaccine and is able to work up to 16 hours without an external power source, and the autonomous battery of the device can be recharged from the vehicle's mains. The SUV has already received preliminary approval from the World Health Organization. Toyot specifies that it is the first dedicated vehicle to be certified in this way.
• It is assumed that the SUV will be used in third world countries (primarily in Africa).
• The company still produces civilian versions of the ToyotLand Cruiser 70. In the summer of last year, the model underwent another update, during which it received a modern media system. For the Australian market, the "seventy" is equipped with a 4.5-liter diesel V8 with 205 hp. and 430 Nm of torque.
