The Zeekr brand, created by Geely to promote premium electric vehicles, has unveiled the first production model Zeekr 001, Gasgoo reports. It turned out to be a conveyor version of the Zero prototype shown by the Lynk & Co brand in the fall of last year. The official premiere of the novelty and the full launch of the brand are scheduled for April 15.

- Judging by the published images, the serial Zeekr 001 practically does not differ from the concept car: it is a rather large hatchback with an unusual design, frameless doors and retractable handles. With a length of 4850 millimeters, a width of 1980 millimeters and a height of 1530 millimeters, it turned out to be longer, wider and lower, for example, the Russian Geely Tugella, and in terms of the wheelbase (it is 2999 millimeters) it is comparable to full-size crossovers. The basis for the electric car was the SEA platform, developed by Geely specifically for new electric vehicles.
- The production model's interior architecture is also almost identical to that of the Zero Concept. The Zeekr 001 retains the 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and large 15.4-inch media screen and, like the prototype, is almost completely devoid of physical buttons.

According to the local press, the electric car will be offered with two powerplant options - one- and two-engine, but some specifications have been announced only for the second version. It will be able to accelerate to 100 km / h in less than 4 seconds, and the 110-kilowatt battery will provide a range of 700 kilometers on the NEDC cycle (similar characteristics were announced for the Lynk & Co Zero concept). The novelty is also promised an air suspension with the ability to change the ground clearance in the range from 150 to 220 millimeters.
- The appearance of a new brand in the Geely portfolio became known in mid-March. It was created specifically for the release of premium electric vehicles on the market, and Tesla's models are named as the main competitors of future novelties.
