Nissan has unveiled a modified version of the flagship Patrol SUV in the Nismo division. A version with a developed body kit, a modified suspension and a forced engine will go on sale in the Middle East in April at a price equivalent to 105 thousand dollars (almost 8 million rubles).
The Patrol Nismo comes standard with 22-inch wheels that reduce unsprung masses by 4.5 kilograms, and Bilstein components are used in the suspension, designed to bring the SUV's handling closer to sporting standards.
The novelty retained the regular naturally aspirated V8 with a volume of 5.6 liters for the Nissan Patrol, but its power was increased from 400 to 428 hp. at the same torque of 560 Nm. The motor works with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Whether the dynamics of the SUV has changed is not specified.
- The body kit includes more aggressive bumpers, a new radiator grille with Nismo logo, side skirts and a rear diffuser. The sporty image is enhanced with red accents and angular tailpipes, as well as new fog lamps and a brake light in the diffuser in the style of Formula 1 cars. In addition, a spoiler appeared on the trunk lid.
The interior of the SUV will be decorated with Alcantara, carbon fiber inserts and numerous red accents.
- Whether the Nissan Patrol Nismo will appear in markets other than the Middle East is still unknown. In Russia, the model is not currently presented, but this year the Nissan line in our country should be replenished with a large new generation Pathfinder crossover.
