When it comes to Cyberpunk concepts, it usually starts and ends with 3D renders on a computer. And this seems to have some advantages: modeling allows you not to limit yourself in creativity, and likes on Instagram are guaranteed. Well, isn't this the main measure of success for a true artist in 2021?
Apparently, Chris Watson from New Zealand suddenly had “Photoshop” frozen forever, and he decided that it would be faster to make a futuristic concept from the Mazda MX-5 in reality. It took many hours of work to implement the bold ideas, and even more - polyurethane foam and fiberglass.

The wheels are 15 inches in diameter and 10 inches wide - in fact, custom bonding with fiberglass turbo-fan hubcaps in the spirit of racing cars of the 1990s. At the same time, there is nothing remarkable about the engine: under the hood there is a stock Mazda 1.6. Although, according to Chris, he would gladly put an electric motor in the roadster. But, alas, he had more enthusiasm than money.

By the way, as for the enthusiasm: many would have limited themselves to the exterior, but Chris has enough energy left to work on the interior as well. He was very confused with the design of the center console, instruments and interior lighting. And of course, the main feature: from an old laptop (maybe it was on it that Photoshop hung up?..) and a metal case, an amazing cyber-device turned out.
