Skod has published several design sketches that give an idea of the appearance of the updated Kodiaq crossover. The SUV will receive new optics and a modified front end design, but at the same time it is promised some technical changes. The completely new product will be declassified on April 13.

- Design improvements will be concentrated at the front of the SkodKodiaq: there will be a new hood, a modified radiator grille with different sipes and a more massive frame, as well as a different bumper with enlarged air intakes.
- Also, Kodiaq will receive a different optics. The headlights will become narrower and acquire a more modern filling, and the rear lights for the crossover will be made in the corporate "crystal" style.
- Whether the chassis of the all-terrain vehicle and its engine range will be modified has not yet been officially announced. But according to preliminary data, a dashboard and a media system from SkodOctavia will appear in the Kodiaq cabin, and the set of power plants will be expanded due to a hybrid based on a 1.4-liter gasoline "turbo four".

The premiere of SkodKodiaq took place in 2016, and its Russian sales started a year later. In total, during this time, the company was able to sell more than 600 thousand off-road vehicles of this model. In our country, the price of SkodKodiaq starts at 1,763,000 rubles for a front-wheel drive version with a 125-horsepower turbo engine and a six-speed manual transmission.
