Automotive.ru has many free tools that make an advertisement for the sale of a car more attractive and noticeable, for example, panoramic photos. Also, users have access to paid options and option packages that help sell faster… Analysts conducted a survey of professional sellers of Auto.ru and found out which of the paid promotion tools became the most in demand.
Professional sellers can post car sales ads with up to 80% discount… Special conditions will be in effect until April 30 for sellers in Moscow, the Moscow region, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region who advertise the sale of cars no more than 800,000 rubles. For sellers in Voronezh, Ivanovo, Kursk, Oryol, Rostov, Smolensk, Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl regions, discounts apply to all cars and will remain until May 15. The most popular paid services of Auto.ru are packages that raise the ad to the top of the listing: "Promotion in search" or "Promotion in the TOP". To further improve the effectiveness of these tools, Auto.ru recommends uploading new photos to your ad or changing their order - this makes the publication fresh.
Complex packages have also become popular, which include several options at once: VIP and Turbo - they are used by every fifth seller. VIP contains 4 services at once: "Raising to the TOP", "Raising in search", "Special offer" and "Highlighting". The package is suitable for cars with a long sale period, for example, illiquid or premium cars, or for cars in "highly competitive" segments.
The "Turbo" package includes "Raise to the TOP", "Special offer" and "Highlighting". It works great if the price of the car is “in the market” and you need to sell it as quickly as possible.
The package of options "Express", as well as separate options "Special placement", "Highlighting" and "Quick Sell Stickers" are used by 19 percent of sellers in total. Recently for professional sellers the cost of stickers has dropped to 1 ₽.
Most often, the "Raise in search" option is connected when an ad is lower in the search results a few days after publication - this method is used by 78 percent of respondents. Another 6 percent of sellers find it effective to activate this feature every day.
Some sellers (15 percent of respondents) use this option before the weekend or when the car has not been sold for a long time. And of course, they don't miss the opportunity to take advantage of the raise in the search when it is being discounted.
Nearly a third of sellers include packs of options immediately upon posting or 2-3 days later (27 percent). Almost half of the respondents (45 percent) buy them on sales days, which are regularly held on Avto.ru. You can follow the discounts in telegram channel Avto.ru.
An additional 6 percent of sellers purchase on-the-fly option packages - usually when views drop. Those who do not use paid options at all turned out to be very few - only 2 percent.
The majority of sellers - 88 percent - have already started using chats in their work, which can be connected for free in your account.
