Ford Bronco With VIN 001 Sold For 81.5 Million Rubles

The first production copy of the new generation Ford Bronco SUV was sold at the Barrett-Jackson auction. For a unique car paid 1,075,000 dollars (about 81.5 million rubles). All proceeds will be donated to charity.

• The sold Bronco in the most intense version of the First Edition has a three-door body and is painted in the exclusive Lightning Blue color. The SUV package includes, for example, the Sasquatch off-road package with 35-inch off-road wheels and G. O. A. T.setting system, Bilstein shock absorbers and Dan44 rear axle in suspension, a "dark" Wildtrack package and expensive leather in the interior. In addition, the Bronco received removable doors and a roof.

• The first production copy is equipped with a 310-horsepower 2.7-liter V6 paired with a 10-speed "automatic" and a four-wheel drive system with a two-stage "transfer case", inter-axle differential locks and the ability to disable anti-roll bars.
• The proceeds will be donated to the National Forest Foundation and Outward Bound. In total, Ford plans to produce only 7,000 copies of the Bronco in the First Edition performance. Initially, they intended to make only 3,500 cars, but a sharp surge in the popularity of the model forced the manufacturer to double the volume. At the same time, the cost of the three-door Bronco First Edition announced last summer was about 60 thousand dollars.
• In January last year, the first production copy of the eighth generation Chevrolet Corvette was auctioned off at the same auction. It cost the buyer much more - $ 3 million.
