Auction house RM Sotheby’s added a rare Italian car to the list of lots - a tiny 1968 Ferves Ranger SUV. It is believed that there are only about 50 "living" copies left on the planet, although the total circulation of the model was about 600 cars.

- The Ranger, which became the only car of the Ferves brand (existed from 1965 to 1970), was introduced in 1966. It is built on a steel frame and was also offered with all-wheel drive. The 22-horsepower air-cooled engine in the rear is borrowed from the Fiat 500, and the independent suspension is from the 600.
- The open body has some features - like bumpers, handles for pulling the car, and a folding windshield. If necessary, the top can be closed with a soft folding roof.
- The interior of the SUV can accommodate four people, but the rear sofa is transformable - in the absence of passengers, its back can be folded and thereby form a cargo space. Despite the deliberate simplicity of a compact SUV, which is not equipped with anything other than things necessary for moving, it can be driven on normal roads.
- The Ranger for sale is rear-wheel drive only. Based on the odometer, the mileage is almost 25 thousand kilometers. In the description of the lot it is said that before the car belonged to a fan of the model, who had several copies, and is now in good condition.

Bidding for this and other cars will be held at auction at the end of May. There is no predicted price range, but in 2020 at the RM Sotheby's event, the same Ranger was sold for 42 thousand dollars (almost 3.2 million rubles at the current exchange rate).
