  • The system with three displays across the entire front panel is called MBUX Hyperscreen and is powered by an eight-core processor, 24GB of RAM and trained artificial intelligence. The touchscreens are scratch-resistant and have vibration feedback provided by 12 actuators. The complex will be optional - without it, two separate screens in the S-class style will remain in the front of the electric car.
  • The EQS will also have a large head-up display with augmented reality, like the new S-Class, and a special No.6 MOOD Linen fragrance has been developed for the interior air system. A high-efficiency HEP filter will be responsible for the purity of the air (albeit for a surcharge) - it limits the ingress of fine dust particles, nitrogen oxide and sulfur dioxide.
  • The luxury electric car will also have "soundscapes" for a special atmosphere. By default, these are two modes Silver Waves and Vivid Flux, and when ordering certain options, Burmester's “music” with 15 speakers will be able to play other special audio tracks - both relaxing (with the sounds of the forest or the sea) and “riding” ones that change depending on driving mode.
  • Another feature of the cabin of the flagship EQS will be spaciousness - it will be more than in the S-Class. This will be provided by a longer wheelbase and the absence of a central tunnel. In addition, the model built on the new "electric" platform will be a liftback with a coupe-like silhouette and frameless doors. Back in Mercedes-Benz, they talk about a record drag coefficient for production cars (0.20).

  • There is still little information on the power plants of the novelty. It is only known that the range of the EQS in the WLTP cycle will be up to 700 kilometers.
  • The flagship electric vehicle will be produced at the same plant as the S-Class - in Sindelfingen. Later, there will begin production of an electric alternative to the E-class - the EQE model, which is also due to premiere in 2021.
