In the United States, a car thief was detained, who, it seems, has never heard of cameras. The attacker stole the Bentley right under the sight of video surveillance and did not even cover his face with the mask he had on him. In addition, the license plates of the car on which he arrived to the robbery got on the record.
- The Bentley Flying Spur luxury sedan was hijacked in Southfield, Michigan. It belongs to the luxury car rental agency Dream Luxury Car Rentals. The attacker visited him under the guise of a client and, during the inspection of the car, managed to steal the key, after which he left.
- The next day he returned - the Bentley was still parked in the open parking lot, so the hijacker drove away without hindrance. Finding the loss, the owner of the agency announced a reward of three thousand dollars for information on the whereabouts of the car. He estimated the Flying Spur at 220 thousand dollars (16.7 million rubles).
The owner received several leads, according to which the sedan was parked outside one of the residential complexes. A Ford Escape also showed up nearby, showing up on the same footage from the rental agency's parking lot. The offender soon showed up and got behind the wheel of a crossover, after which he was detained.
- Earlier in March of this year, a gang was detained in the United States, which specialized in theft of catalytic converters. The damage was estimated at 750 thousand dollars.
