California-based Drako Motors has released a video showing its only model, a GTE super sedan, gliding on bare ice. Each of the Drako GTE wheels is driven by its own electric motor (their combined output is 1216 hp and up to 8880 Nm of torque).
- The ability to control the amount of traction and the direction of rotation on each of the wheels separately, according to the developers, allows the sedan to move on ice in a way that none of the competitors is capable of.
- The published footage demonstrates sliding at an angle of approximately 90 degrees to the direction of travel, "police" turns, as well as the rotation of the sedan around its own axis in one place. A similar feature called Tank Turn was previously announced by Rivian for its R1T pickup. Ice video filmed at Georgetown Lake, Colorado.

In addition, Drako Motors demonstrated the sedan's level of handling on loose and packed snow, sending the car to the training ground for this. It is located in the mountains at an altitude of about 2600 meters above sea level. In both cases, special powerplant settings were used, designed for a particular type of coverage. There are six of them in total, including presets for dry and rainy weather, as well as two settings for racing tracks.
- The supply of an electric sedan with a 90-kilowatt battery should begin this year. Drako Motors plans to assemble only 25 electric cars, each of which is estimated at $ 1.25 million (more than 95 million rubles).
