Russian Industry Minister Denis Manturov, during his visit to Togliatti, rode a prototype of the compact Zetta electric car. As reported by the agency "RIA", the official responded positively about the electric car as a whole, but drew attention to the need to finalize the interior. The Zett project was frozen by its creators back in the fall of last year.

• Denis Manturov, judging by the video posted on YouTube, was shown two Zett-pre-production prototypes and an electric car frame without body panels at once. Manturov made a test drive on the prototype, noting the comfort of control.
• “Since this is still an experimental industrial sample, here it is necessary to work on sound insulation and interior. Taking into account the fact that he has a limitation here, it is difficult to understand from the dynamics, but the control is quite comfortable. The basis is there, but we will continue to work with the material so that the consumer likes it. The car must be accessible. I drove on an experimental one, now we will wait for a serial one, "RIA quotes the minister's statement.

• At the same time, it was the Ministry of Industry and Trade that was named one of the reasons for the temporary suspension of the Zetta project last fall. The Industrial Development Fund, created by the ministry to support investment projects, refused the company in subsidies in the amount of 99.9 million rubles - their management Zett planned to spend on the completion of work on the organization of serial production of an electric vehicle.
• The design of the ZettCity Modul 1 provides for the use of two to four motor-wheels in the power plant (24.5 hp each) and several battery options. In the summer of last year, the estimated cost of the basic option was called the amount of 550 thousand rubles. It was originally planned to start assembling the hatch in the first quarter of 2020, later it was postponed to the end of the year. At the moment, the serial prospects of the project have not been specified.
• In December last year, another compact domestic electric car, "Kama-1", was declassified. It uses a single 80 kW electric motor, but in retail this model may be more expensive: the base cost announced by the developers is 1.2 million rubles, subject to mass production.
