The metropolitan "Administrator of the Moscow Parking Space" (AMPP) will lease 250 stationary complexes for automatic recording of violations for three years. As reported by "Kommersant", the new cameras will be engaged in tracking cars parking where it is prohibited.

  • Cameras will be able to record cars stopped in the wrong places from a distance of 150 meters during daylight hours. At night, the distance is reduced to 100 meters: infrared illumination is enough for this distance.
  • New complexes will appear, in particular, near the metro stations Kaluzhskaya, Fili, Filyovsky Park, Kolomenskaya, Kashirskaya, Yugo-Vostochnaya, Dmitrievskaya Street, Lermontovsky Prospect, Strogino, "Skhodnenskaya". The cameras will be blocked in the central districts of the capital near Krasnopresnenskaya, Chistye Prudy, Park Kultury metro stations, as well as at Okhotny Ryad. In addition, according to the publication, complexes of automatic fixation will be strengthened at the Bolshoi Moscow Circus, opposite the entrance to the Moscow Zoo and on Smolenskaya Square. Some cameras will monitor compliance with the rules of paid parking. Drivers face a fine of up to 3 thousand rubles for violating the requirements of the sign "Stopping is prohibited".

  • AMPP leases 250 Street Falcon cameras for a period of three years, the contract amount will be 824 million rubles.
  • From April 5, new paid parking zones will appear in Moscow, and tariffs for the use of existing ones will be revised. In addition, the cost of evacuating improperly parked vehicles will increase.
