A Very Unusual Fiat 500 Will Be Auctioned Off: A Six-wheeled Pickup Truck With A Wine Bar

At the Italian Asti Bolaffi auction on March 25, there will be an auction for an unusual three-axle truck - the 1950 Fiat 500 C Ollearo. Initially, the six-wheeled car worked in a winery, and in recent years has been in private car collections. The estimated price is up to 35 thousand euros (just over 3 million rubles).

• The company Fiat has almost nothing to do with the manufacture of the truck: it only approved the development and production of such cars on the Fiat 500 platform by the Turin company Ollearo. This instance was built in 1950 and was used as a mobile wine bar until the 1980s.
• In the early 90s, before settling in a private museum, the Fiat 500 C Ollearo underwent a complete restoration and it was at this time that it acquired a characteristic wooden body (it was previously metal).
• The truck is equipped with a 569 cubic centimeters gasoline engine developing 16 hp. The sellers say that although the engine was started periodically during the machine's downtime, it may need a detailed check before full operation - if the new owner has such plans.
• In December last year, a pickup Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6 was exhibited at Avto.ru: it was estimated at 69.9 million rubles, which made the car the most expensive Gelendvagen in Russia.
