Volkswagen has presented prices for a special version of the VW Polo Football Edition liftback. The novelty will be offered with three variants of power units, and the prices for the "football" Polo for 99 thousand rubles did not reach the cost of the model in the maximum configuration.

  • The most affordable version of the Volkswagen Polo Football Edition is equipped with a 110-horsepower 1.6-liter engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission. Such a liftback costs 1,129,900 or 1,179,900 rubles. Replacing the engine with a 125-horsepower "turbo four" with a volume of 1.4 liters, which is accompanied by a 7-speed "robot", will increase the price to 1,227,900 rubles.
  • A special version of the VW Polo is based on the Status configuration, which is 41 thousand rubles cheaper. The exterior features of the Football Edition will be side skirts and a badge on the boot lid with the name of the special design, and floor mats with the Euro 2020 logo will appear in the interior. At the same time, the Football Edition will have a number of options borrowed from the top-end Exclusive equipment. Among them, for example, the center armrest in the cabin, as well as a multimedia system with an 8-inch monitor and 6 acoustic speakers.
  • Among other things, the special Polo will be equipped with a rear-view camera and USB ports for second-row passengers. For the younger Respect configuration, this media equipment is available as part of the optional Media package at a price of 30,500 rubles, the center armrest costs 4,200 rubles.

  • The UEFA Euro 2020 tournament, to which the special version is timed, will take place in 2021 and will be held in 11 countries, including Russia. The Volkswagen brand, which has been a partner of the UEF since 2018, will ensure the mobility of participants, fans and organizers of the championship.
