UAE-based Car Insurance has studied the nuances of the global pricing of the Range Rover SUV and compiled a list of countries where the model costs the most and the least. As noted by Carscoops, citing research materials, it turned out, for example, that Range Rover in Malaysia will cost more than Rolls-Royce in Russia.
- In this country, the base price of an SUV is 1 444 862 ringgit, which is the equivalent of 356 thousand dollars or 26.4 million rubles. At the stage of the start of Russian sales of the new generation Rolls-Royce Ghost sedan, the initial cost of the model was 23 million rubles. The compilers of the rating explain such a high cost of Range Rover in Malaysia by the protective duties in force there.
- The second in the list of countries with the most expensive Range Rover was Singapore (354 thousand dollars), Vietnam closed the top three with 352 thousand dollars. In general, the top 10 were Hong Kong, Cambodia, Brunei, Thailand, Myanmar and China, and the tenth place was taken by Greece - the only European country in the list. Here for the Range Rover you will have to pay at least 183 thousand dollars.
At the same time, the country where the Range Rover in dollar terms costs the least is the United States, where the SUV is estimated at 92 thousand dollars. The model is a little cheaper in Canada, and in Bahrain and Qatar they will ask for 101 and 111 thousand dollars for the car, respectively. Romania, Oman, Great Britain, Kuwait and Morocco are also mentioned in the top ten, and Kazakhstan closed it, where, according to researchers, Range Rover costs 122 thousand dollars.
- Russia did not make it to the top 10 countries with the most affordable Range Rovers. In our country, for 10.92 million rubles (about 147 thousand dollars), you can buy, for example, an SUV in a special Fifty version, dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the model.
