Back in December last year, it was reported that the new generation Audi A3 in our country will be equipped with two turbo engines to choose from - a 150-horsepower 1.5-liter and a two-liter "turbo four" with 190 hp.
- However, it has now been decided to abandon the larger engine. The sedan and the five-door hatch A3 in the Russian version will receive only a 1.5-liter unit, and in combination with an eight-speed "automatic". For example, a new generation SkodOctavi is equipped with a similar tandem in Russia.
- In the European market, the place of the 190-horsepower unit in the Audi A3 engine range was taken by a gasoline-electric power plant with a return of 204 hp. and the ability to travel on electric traction up to 67 kilometers. It is not known whether such an A3 will be certified for the Russian market. It is expected that Audi will officially announce the specifications of the Russian version of the Audi A3 in April this year, and the "live" cars will appear at dealerships a month later.
