Video: Take A Look At The "updated" S-class W140 - With Design Elements From The W222

The author of the YouTube channel TheSketchMonkey has published a video about the virtual transformation of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class of the W140 generation, produced in the 1990s, into a more modern model. The video shows almost the entire process of "updating" the sedan, which received some features from the W222.
- At the beginning of the release, the auto designer blogger showed a lot of comments on previous works asking to tackle the W140. The published video was the second part - earlier he prepared a render, which shows the stern of the "restyled" sedan.
- The transformation of the model was not simply a matter of using headlights, a radiator grill or body kit in the spirit of the more modern S-Class. The author, among other things, changed the shoulder line of the body, the geometry of the hood and windshield.
- TheSketchMonkey car design channel has been active for about five years. Its author talks a lot about the design as such, and also "corrects" the appearance of various cars. Here you can read an interview with the blogger Avto.ru.

In the fall of 2020, the new generation S-Class (W223) debuted. In the Russian market, the model is still available only in a long-wheelbase version and with two engines to choose from - a diesel "six" and a three-liter gasoline unit with an electric superstructure. Prices start at 11,120,000 rubles.
