Video: USA Vs Norway: GM's Funny Ad With Electric Cars And A Famous Comedian
General Motors Corporation has released a video shot specifically for the air during the American Super Bowl - it advertises the future electrical innovations of GM. In the lead roles - promising electric cars and the famous comedian Will Ferrell, who is guided by the globe.
- According to the plot, the main character of the advertisement is extremely outraged by the fact that more electric vehicles are sold in Norway per capita than in the United States. He intends to prove to the Norwegians that the Americans are still cooler, and gathers a whole team for the expedition.
- After a series of adventures, the heroes, driving in different cars, still get to a certain northern European country. It just turns out that the main character in a Cadillac Lyriq instead of Norway came to Sweden, and his partners in a GMC Hummer pickup ended up in Finland.
- The idea of the mini-film, as far as the slogan can be judged, is to demonstrate the intentions of General Motors to bring up to 30 electric vehicles to the market by the middle of the decade - this was officially announced by GM. At least some of them will be sold in Europe.
