Honda Patented Mysterious Concept Car With Strange Wheels

Images of the previously unknown futuristic Hond concept car are attached to the design patent application. According to the AutoWeek edition, which published the sketches, in addition to the unusual appearance, the concept should also receive an ultra-modern electronic filling.

• In the patented appearance of the concept, attention is drawn not only to the elongated squat silhouette, but also to the original wheel arches: the wheels themselves are not observed in them, but the panels with which they are covered are replete with broken radial slots. Some of them continue on the body.

• The unnamed concept car received extravagant LED optics at the front and rear, as well as developed bumpers. The publication also mentions a glass roof, which includes rear and side windows. At the same time, the concept does not have visible doorways.

• Presumably, the concept was equipped with an electric power plant and an autonomous control system, but there is no confirmation of this data yet. It is possible that the concept will in the future become a means of demonstrating the latest Honda autopilot. The company announced the results of work in this direction in October.
• Production vehicles with a third-level self-driving system from Hond may appear on the market as early as the first half of 2021.
