The TeslIncome YouTube channel has published a video of its host Steve Sasman, dedicated to the experience of using the Model Y electric car as a snowplow. Steve argues that you can make good money by equipping an electric car with a snow blade.

  • Steve mounted a lightweight blade with a metal base and rubber edges on a towbar mounted on an electric all-terrain vehicle. Thus, the blade is located aft of the Model Y, and in order to shovel the snow, you have to move in reverse.
  • At the same time, the author of the project claims that changing the direction of movement does not cause any problems, since the Model Y is equipped with a rear-view camera and a large monitor for viewing the picture from the camera.
  • Sasman's channel is dedicated to various earning opportunities with Tesla, and snow removal has become one of them. Steve launched a separate website for his snow blower, where he offers snow removal services to neighbors, noting that the Model Y is completely silent and does not pollute the air. Prices start at $ 30 (2.28 thousand rubles) for cleaning the driveway, provided the depth of the cover is no more than 150 millimeters.
  • In the future, the blogger plans to acquire TeslCybertruck and do the same with it, but on a more serious scale. The assembly of an extravagant pickup truck, by the way, can start as early as this year - Elon Musk said this at a meeting with investors, noting that the start of the mass production of Cybertruck will still take place in 2022.
