Bentley has announced a new styling specification for the Flying Spur sedan. It includes a set of additions that not only make the sedan look more expressive, but also improve its aerodynamics.

• The Styling Specification package includes a splitter for the front bumper, side skirts, a rear diffuser and a spoiler for the boot lid.
• The body kit elements are made by hand by weaving from carbon fiber, laid in several layers. This manufacturing method is said to provide the components with minimum weight and optimum strength. At the same time, the embossed logo of the brand is applied to the side plates by means of electroplating.
• The new body kit has a positive effect on both the lift force at the front and rear of the sedan and the drag coefficient. To achieve this, engineers tested the Flying Spur in a wind tunnel and on race tracks during the design of the new empennage.
• Installation of the Styling Specification package can be ordered both for a new car and after the purchase of the car. The price has not yet been announced.

• The Bentley Flying Spur took over as the flagship model of the British marque after Bentley discontinued the larger four-door Mulsanne. The assembly of this model was completed in June this year.
