Soon an updated "charged" BMW M5 sedan will reach Russia, and the model will be available here only in the most frantic Competition modification. Anticipating this event, we decided to recall other very fast and luxurious four-doors, which to one degree or another will share customers with the “emka” and are on sale now.
BMW M5 Competition

But first, a few words about the updated M5. It differs from the pre-styling version not only with redesigned optics and a multimedia complex with an increased screen diagonal, but also with new bumpers and fenders, which are now made of carbon fiber.
On the Russian market, the M5 will be sold only in the Competition version, which can be identified by the corresponding nameplates and a spoiler on the trunk lid. This "emka" is equipped with a 4.4-liter V8 engine with a capacity of 625 horsepower!
Thanks to the all-wheel drive system, the M5 Competition accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds, and to 200 in just 10.8 seconds. The top speed of the "five" is 250 kilometers per hour, but only if the buyer has not ordered the M Driver's package: with it the maximum speed limiter is shifted to 305 km / h.
Prices for the updated BMW M5 Competition will start at 8,650,000. A little later, a modification of the M5 CS should appear, even more powerful and faster.
BMW M8 Gran Coupe / M8 Gran Coupe Competition

The new M5 will have to compete with cars not only of other brands, but also with a close relative - the four-door M8 coupe. It, unlike the "five", can be purchased from us both in the usual version and in the more evil Competition.
In terms of technology, the four-door M8 is identical to the M5: the same platform, the same engine, the same control electronics. However, the "eight" is lower (1420 mm versus 1469 for the M5), and its wheelbase is larger (3027 mm versus 2982).
And while the M8 Gran Coupe is slightly faster than the M5. The model accelerates to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.3 seconds, and the M8 Gran Coupe Competition in 3.2. Both options presented on the Russian market already come with the M Driver's package in the base, so the maximum speed of the M8 will in any case be 305 kilometers per hour.
An ordinary M8 Gran Coupe with a 600-horsepower engine in Russia costs at least 11,210,000 rubles. The Competition version, the V8 of which develops 625 forces, is 13,040,000 rubles.
Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic +

The list of the fastest sedans on the Russian market would not be complete without the main competitor to the BMW M5 - Mercedes-AMG E 63 S 4Matic +. It has also recently been updated, so the struggle between the "Germans" promises to be fierce. Normally.
The E 63 S rejuvenation program is similar to that of the BMW M5: the exterior design has changed, a slightly more advanced multimedia system has appeared, a new steering wheel, different rims … But the technical part remains the same. The E 63 S is still powered by a four-liter V8 engine with 612 horsepower and 850 Nm. The gearbox is a nine-speed automatic AMG Speedshift, which distributes traction to both axles.
The dynamics of the sedan also remained at the pre-styling level: acceleration to 100 kilometers per hour takes 3.4 seconds, and the maximum speed reaches 300 kilometers per hour with the AMG Driver's Package. The Russian price for the updated sports sedan will be announced a little later, but the amount is unlikely to be very different from the one that was asked for the E 63 S before restyling. That is, eight million rubles.
Mercedes-AMG S 63 4Matic +

Although the S-Class in the back of the W222 has only a few months to live, it retires with its head held high. If only because the current S 63 AMG is still one of the fastest executive cars. Already after 3.5 seconds, the limousine is gaining 100 km / h and continues to accelerate rapidly up to 250 kilometers per hour, until the electronic speed limiter intervenes.
The engine of the S 63 is the same as that of the sporty E-Class - a four-liter V8 with 612 horsepower. True, the Eski's torque is greater and amounts to 900 Nm. In addition to the powerful engine, the basic equipment of the model includes advanced LED optics, black leather interior, trimmed with nappa leather, Burmester audio system, as well as electronic sensors and closers of everything and everyone.
Now S 63 4Matic + can be purchased at a price of 11.4 million rubles. It is not known how much the next generation model will cost, but one thing is for sure - it is expensive.
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + 4-door Coupe

Moving on to cars that are very difficult to classify. They look like sedans, they are called coupes, but they are hatchbacks. And first on the list is the four-door version of the Mercedes-AMG GT sports car, the full name of which not even every Mercedes-Benz salon manager probably remembers.
Technically, the car is close to the E 63 S, but, as in the case of the BMW M8 Gran Coupe, it is faster, more luxurious and more expensive than its brother. In Russia, the four-door (actually five-door) AMG GT is available in three versions, the most powerful of which, the GT 63 S, produces 640 horsepower and 900 Nm. As befits a supercar, it does not have a maximum speed limiter: having accelerated to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.2 seconds, the four-wheel drive four-five-door hatchback-coupe-sedan is rapidly gaining speed up to 315 kilometers per hour!
Mercedes-AMG GT 63 S 4Matic + 4-door Coupe is not cheap pleasure. Already in the basic version, the car pulls 12,030,000 rubles.
Audi RS7 Sportback

For two generations, the Audi RS6 has not been produced as a sedan, and the reason for this is simple: Audi has an RS7, which, although it is a huge hatchback, more or less successfully fills this niche.
In addition to the spacious trunk, the RS7 Sportback also has excellent dynamics: the model spends only 3.6 seconds to accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour, and its maximum speed is 305 km / h (with the Dynamic Plus package, without it the maximum speed will be 250 kilometers hour). The engine of the RS7 is traditional for the fastest versions of Audi and Porsche - a four-liter V8 with a double supercharging of 600 horsepower.
Prices for the RS7 Sportback in Russia start at 8.5 million rubles.
Porsche PanamerTurbo S E-Hybrid

If we talk about the fastest sedan-like hybrids sold in Russia, then the Porsche PanamerTurbo S E-Hybrid is unmatched here.
The petrol engine used in the model is the same as in the Audi RS7 Sportback - a four-liter twin-turbo V8. True, in the case of Porsche, it develops only 550 horsepower and 770 Nm. However, thanks to the help of an electric motor with 136 forces and 400 Nm, the total recoil is similar to that of a supercar: power - 680 horsepower, torque - 850 Nm.
With the Sport Chrono package, such a Panamer picks up the first hundred in just 3.4 seconds, and 160 kilometers per hour in just 7.6 seconds. Top speed - also from the supercar league: 310 kilometers per hour.
The basic PanamerTurbo S E-Hybrid costs from 12,920,000 rubles. The same car, but in the Executive version (with an extended wheelbase) will cost at least 14,428,000 rubles.
Porsche Taycan Turbo S

Unlike the Panamera, the Porsche Taycan is a sedan. And not just a sedan, but one of the most dynamic representatives of its kind on the planet! And it can be bought in Russia, even though it costs like a spaceship.
The Taycan is the first mass-produced electric car from Porsche and the first car from the automotive industry mastodons to oppose the TeslModel S. In its top-of-the-range performance, the Turbo S, the most talked about electric car of last year, reaches 100 kilometers per hour in 2.8 seconds.
But the Taycan is strong not only on the straight: it passes the Nürburgring in 7 minutes and 42 seconds (on the level of the Porsche 911 GT3 997), has a range of more than 300 kilometers in a realistic EP cycle and, of course, is packed with the latest Porsche technologies, including a fast charging system. at 800 volts.
Prices for the Taycan Turbo S in Russia start at 11.6 million rubles. The usual Taycan 4S is much cheaper - 7,360,000 rubles. But it is also slower.
Bentley Flying Spur

Almost all modern Bentley cars have the talent to accelerate to speeds of about 300 kilometers per hour. The only exceptions are some versions of the Bentayga crossover. But the new Flying Spur has no problems with this: 333 kilometers per hour of maximum speed! Well, this limousine gains the first hundred in 3.8 seconds!
The new Flying Spur is built on the same platform as the Porsche Panamera, but don't think that Bentley is now building a Porsche with a flying B on the hood. The Bentley sedan has a distinctive exterior and interior design, chassis settings and engine. The British do not betray themselves and install a six-liter W12 with two turbines on the sedan, which develops 635 horsepower and is definitely on the list of Greta Thunberg's sworn enemies.
Hardly anyone buys a Bentley in the basic version, but the starting point for such an acquisition is 15 million 190 thousand rubles. Which makes the Flying Spur the most expensive car on this list.
Maserati Quattroporte GTS

Perhaps someone managed to forget, but a fast Italian sedan, the Maserati Quattroporte, is also being sold in Russia. Its GTS version is especially good and fast, for which the following dynamic indicators are declared: acceleration from standstill to 100 kilometers per hour - 4.7 seconds, maximum speed - 307 kilometers per hour.
The GTS version is the only one in the Quattroporte range to offer a V8 engine. The 3.8-liter power unit was developed by Ferrari specialists and develops 530 horsepower and 650 Nm. For now, anyway: Maserati should soon update the Quattroporte for a second time, which will certainly affect its performance.
In the meantime, the updated Quattroporte GTS is on the way, you can purchase its current version at a price of 9.6 million rubles. Nappa leather upholstery, an eight-speed automatic and a pleasant engine sound are included as standard.
