A tender has appeared on the corporate procurement site of AvtoVAZ to find suppliers of a transformer substation for the task “Production of vehicles on the CMF-B-LS platform”. This index belongs to a simplified version of the CMF-B (Common Module Family) modular architecture developed by Renault.

  • AvtoVAZ is actively purchasing equipment for the start of mass production of completely new models. Most of the tenders are posted on a closed portal. Only applications for auxiliary equipment are publicly available. For example, Steering Systems, one of the contractors of AvtoVAZ, received a loan to prepare for the Russian production of a mechanism for the new Renault platform.

Later, all models of the Russian brand can move to the new platform. In the spring, AvtoVAZ announced that it will bring 10 completely new and seven updated models to the market by 2026.
  • Earlier, on the territory of the scientific and technical center of AvtoVAZ, spies photographed several Renault Clio hatchbacks of the fifth generation - this is the first model built on the CMF-B architecture. According to preliminary data, in Togliatti these cars are studying a new design for its introduction into production.
