The administration of the Beysky district of Khakassia announced a tender for the purchase of a new Geely Atlas, but after the intervention of the prosecutor's office, officials decided to fix the old car. The portal 19rus.info told about it.
- It was planned to spend 1.5 million rubles from the budget on the Chinese crossover. The head of the district, Innokenty Stryapkov, justified the choice by the fact that the authorities need at least one good all-wheel drive off-road vehicle that does not get stuck or breaks down. According to him, the administration's vehicle fleet mainly consists of old Volgas.
- The district prosecutor Olga Blagova demanded to spend the budget money intended for the purchase of a new car on other, more important social needs. When no bids were received for the tender, the administration did not re-announce the purchase.
Now officials have launched the process of purchasing parts for the repair of the only four-wheel drive vehicle available - the 2004 UAZ Hunter. According to the new tender, a new engine, clutch, generator, starter and ignition coils will be purchased for the Russian SUV. The repair will take an order of magnitude less money - 149,396 rubles.
