The second generation Opel Mokk crossover debuted. It was greatly reduced and became the first production model of the brand with a new appearance, as well as a seriously redesigned interior. Here are all the details about the new product, which will be guided by all the following models of the brand.
With the change of generation, Opel Mokk has become even more compact: the length has been reduced from 4275 to 4150 millimeters. At the same time, the width increased by 10 mm (up to 1791 mm), and the wheelbase - by 2 mm (up to 2557 mm). The volume of the trunk has lost six liters (350 liters)
Now, the Opel Mokk is based not on the GammII platform of the American concern GM, but on the modular architecture of the CMP developed by the PSA group, as in the Opel Cors and Peugeot 2008. This made it possible to reduce the curb weight by 120 kilograms and increase the torsional rigidity of the body by 30%
The new front end, called the Opel Vizor, is styled as a helmet visor thanks to the combination of LED headlights and a false grille with an emblem in a block. The list of equipment includes 18-inch wheels, matrix front optics with 14 LEDs in each headlight and adaptive cruise control with a full stop function and a system for tracking lane markings
The interior of the crossover is made in the new Opel Pure Panel concept. The 12-inch digital instrument cluster and the multimedia display (7 or 10 inches, depending on the configuration) are combined into one unit, facing the driver. The gearbox is controlled by a small joystick, and the seats (driver's with massage) are available in perforated leather or Alcantara
