Small Crossover Mercedes-AMG With A Powerful "turbo Four": Ruble Prices Named

The Russian office of Mercedes-Benz announced the start of accepting orders for compact crossovers Mercedes-AMG GLA. The base GL35 and the top-end GL45 S are available in our market, but there is no intermediate version of the GL45. Their initial cost is 4,170,000 and 5,360,000 rubles, respectively, which is 660,000 and 870,000 rubles more than the Mercedes-AMG 35 and 45 S hatchbacks with the same turbo engines cost.

• Mercedes-AMG GL35 is equipped with a two-liter "turbo four" with a capacity of 306 hp. (400 Nm), an eight-speed "robot" with two clutches and four-wheel drive with a clutch on the rear axle. The crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 5.1 seconds and has a top speed limited to 250 km / h.
• The basic AMG version of the compact crossover has a body with additional amplifiers, an aerodynamic body kit with a proprietary AMG grille, a modified suspension and front seats with increased lateral support.

• The Mercedes-AMG GL45 S is powered by the most powerful production four-cylinder in the world: the 2.0-liter turbo engine produces 421 hp. (500 Nm) and accelerates the crossover to "hundreds" in 4.3 seconds. Its top speed is 270 km / h. Paired with an eight-speed "robot" is four-wheel drive with two electronically controlled clutches on the rear axle, which control the thrust vector.
• The 45-series crossover is equipped with a more aggressive body kit, 20-inch wheels, a rear wing on the tailgate and a quartet of tailpipes. The front seats have integrated head restraints.

For comparison: the lighter 306-horsepower Mercedes-AMG 35 hatchback takes 4.7 seconds to accelerate to 100 km / h, while the 421-horsepower 45 S takes 3.9 seconds. The top speed is identical to that of the crossovers.
