
Video: Unique Wall-mounted Lamborghini Diablo Put Up For Sale

Auction house Mecum will auction off an unusual factory prototype Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 in July. The car is a show car and is designed for wall mounting.

The supercar on offer is the sixth Diablo VT 6.0. Audi, which bought Lamborghini in 1998, opened a new museum of the Italian brand as part of the reconstruction of the plant. The prototype, which was in the final stages of construction, was decided to be placed on the wall of the restored building in Sant'Agata Bolognese.
- The wall show car is almost completely assembled from spare parts, which were later received by the serial version of the supercar. There are even all the details of the interior and working lighting. It only lacks a six-liter V12 engine with 575 hp. and a five-speed manual transmission.
- A total of 260 copies of the Lamborghini Diablo VT 6.0 were produced in 2000-2001. The all-wheel drive supercar accelerated to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds, and its top speed was 335 km / h. VT 6.0 is the latest modification of Diablo. In 2001, the model's successor, the Murcielago, debuted.
