The factory team of AvtoVAZ has developed a new sports modification of LadGranta. The car is prepared for participation in the "Touring Light" class of the Russian series of circuit races (RSKG). The last time the automaker announced its cars in it was in 2016.

• Under the hood of the ring Granta, a 1.6-liter aspirated engine with 165 hp is installed, which spins up to 8000 rpm. After the tests, the racing team will finally decide on the gearbox - either leave the modified five-speed "mechanics", or choose a completely new cam transmission.
• The suspension of the new racing LadGrant uses rigid spherical joints instead of silent blocks and shock absorbers with an increased number of settings. In addition, the hatch received large brakes and lightweight 15-inch wheels, which, according to the rules of the championship, can be “put on” in racing slicks or rain tires.
• The body is noticeably lighter: the hood, trunk lid and part of the glazing are made of plastic. Inside, there is practically nothing left of the standard trim, instead of it there is a roll cage, a digital instrument panel and a racing seat. The front panel is covered with a soft material to avoid glare in the windshield.
• Factory division LadSport, which builds LadGranta racing hatchbacks, will also sell them to other teams, but the cost of the car has not been disclosed. Only the approximate price of the 175-horsepower LadVestR1 sedan, prepared for rallycross, is known - about two million rubles.
