Video: Haval SUV With Round Headlights Will Get Two Differential Locks

The Chinese Ministry of Industry has released photos and some technical details regarding the Haval Dgou SUV. Its name translates as "big dog", and it was chosen based on the results of a competition in social networks. The SUV with round headlights in the style of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class bears the in-house designation B06.

-
According to Buy Car, the new Haval SUV will receive four-wheel drive with central and rear differential locks, as well as a drive mode selection system with six options: economical, standard, sporty, for sand, mud and snow. At the same time, it still remains a mystery whether this model has a frame structure (and will become the ideological successor to the frame Haval H5) or a monocoque body.
- At the start of sales in China, Haval will be available with a 1.5-liter "turbo four" with a capacity of 169 horsepower. This SUV has a top speed of 175 km / h. Later, a two-liter gasoline turbo engine will appear on the model.
- The length, width and height of the Haval Dgou are 4620, 1890 and 1780 mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2738 mm. Depending on the configuration, the B06 is equipped with wheels with dimensions 235/65 R18 or 235/60 R19, a digital instrument panel, multimedia with a large screen, wireless charging and leather trim.
- The official premiere of the new Haval will take place during the summer, with sales in China starting in November 2020. It is not yet known if the SUV will be available outside the home market.
