The second generation Hyundai Cret crossover will be presented in Russia in mid-2021. Alexey Kalitsev, Managing Director of the Russian office of the Korean brand, spoke about this.

- The top manager noted that the Russian crossover of the second generation will receive its own design, which is not similar to the SUV of the same name for the Indian market or to the Chinese ix25. Earlier, a Hyundai representative told Auto.ru that the option for the Russian Federation would be more elegant, and would also get a more "complex" and unusual appearance.

The novelty will be built on a modified platform of the current Crete with details from the more modern K2 architecture, on which KiSeltos and Ceed are based. The "second" Cret follows from its predecessor six-speed "mechanics" and "automatic", as well as naturally aspirated engines 1.6 and 2.0.
Alexey Kalitsev also revealed the schedule of Russian premieres of Hyundai. In the second half of the year, the largest crossover of the brand will appear in Russia - the eight-seater Palisade, and in October-November - the new generation Elantr sedan. At the very beginning of 2021, the Russian premiere of the deeply modernized SantFe will take place, and a little later - the Tucson crossover and the H1 minivan, which have not yet debuted.
