The BMW M5 is still powered by a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 that develops 600 hp. in the regular version and 625 hp. - in the M5 Competition at the same torque of 750 Nm. Paired with the engine is an eight-speed "automatic" and four-wheel drive with the function of disabling the front axle - in this case, the car becomes rear-wheel drive.

  • The BMW M5 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds and to 200 km / h in 11.1 seconds. The M5 Competition does this in 3.3 and 10.8 seconds, respectively. The maximum speed is limited to 250 km / h, and with the optional M Driver's Package, the electronic limiter is triggered at 305 km / h.

  • With the update, the BMW M5 sedan received an aerodynamic body kit with carbon fiber inserts like the flagship M8 family, carbon fiber front fenders, narrower headlights, an enlarged radiator grille and lights with a new pattern. Inside, there is a digital instrument panel and a 12.3-inch screen for the multimedia system. Some buttons on the center console have changed their location.

  • The restyled BMW M5 will go on sale simultaneously with the base "five" - already in August. In Russia, only the Competition version will be available - after the update, it has risen in price by 370,000 rubles and now costs at least 8,650,000 rubles. Plus, the sedan will be available in a rich M Special trim for 9,850,000 rubles.
