Updated BMW M5 Fully Revealed Before The Premiere

At the end of May, the head of BMW M, Markus Flush, showed a small detail of the restyled version of the M5 and announced that it would premiere in the next few weeks. There was no official presentation yet, but pictures of the novelty appeared, showing it from all sides. They were posted by Instagram user kero_wolf.

• Like the facelifted BMW 5 Series, the M5 will receive new matrix headlights, an enlarged grille and headlights with a different pattern. The main difference from its predecessor is a modified aerodynamic body kit with carbon inserts, like the flagship M8 family.
• According to BMW Blog, after the restyling, the M5 will remain the same in the technical part. As now, the all-wheel drive sedan will be equipped with a 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 developing 600 hp. and 750 Nm of torque (or 625 hp in the Competition version). The M5 accelerates to 100 km / h in 3.4 seconds, the M5 Competition in 3.3 seconds.
• However, there will be a more powerful modification of the BMW M5 CS with improved aerodynamics, a retuned chassis and carbon ceramic brake discs with six-piston calipers on the front axle. When the premiere of this version will take place is still unknown.
