
Video: The French Turned The Russian Tagaz Aquila Into An & Nbsp; Electric Car

French company MPM Motors has built an electric version of its only Erelis model. It is a copy of the Russian Tagaz Aquila sedan, which is produced at a plant near Paris. The owner of MPM Motors is Igor Paramonov, the son of Mikhail Paramonov, the former owner of TagAZ.

The electric version received a completely new front end with LED headlights and a gold-colored cap in place of the grille. The MPM Erelis is built around a steel tube frame with plastic body panels.
- The electric MPM Erelis is equipped with a 136-horsepower electric motor mounted on the front axle and a 42 kWh battery. According to the creators, the range without recharging exceeds 300 kilometers. They do not disclose other characteristics.
- So far, the firm has built only one copy. Now MPM Motors continues to develop an electric version of the Erelis sedan. The timing of the start of sales of the electric vehicle has not yet been determined.



In France, MPM Motors has been homologated for an annual production of 1,000 vehicles. Erelis is offered in the local market with a 1.2 petrol turbo engine with 130 hp. development of Peugeot-Citroen and five-speed "mechanics". The initial cost is 16 490 euros (1.3 million rubles).
