
Video: The New Land Rover Defender Has Reached Russia. So Far, Only 130 Cars

Land Rover has announced the entry into the Russian market of the new generation Defender SUV. The first batch for Russia consists of only 130 vehicles. Prices start at 4 512 000 rubles.

For now, the SUV will be available in Russia in just two trim levels: SE and HSE. The base equipment list includes air suspension, LED headlights, 20-inch wheels, power leather seats, all-round visibility, digital instrument cluster and 11-speaker audio system.
- The HSE adds a panoramic roof, front seat ventilation, adaptive cruise control and matrix headlights.
- In Russia, the new generation Land Rover Defender will be available with a pair of 200 and 240 horsepower turbodiesel fours, as well as a six-cylinder gasoline engine operating as part of a mild hybrid power plant. In the latter case, the recoil is 400 forces.
- Until the end of the summer, the British automaker will announce the cost of other Defender variants for the Russian market, and full sales of the model will begin in the fall.
