Video: Cemetery Of Mid-engined Toyota Found In Britain
In one of the suburbs of Great Britain, a local resident stumbled upon a parking lot completely packed with coupe and ToyotMR2 roadsters with a mid-engined layout. Photos Keith Brown posted on Facebook.
- In total, there are more than 20 ToyotMR2s on the site, most of which belong to the second generation of 1989-1999. Some of them are in good condition, while others are already partially disassembled. And all cars are slowly rusting in the open.
In comments under Brown's post, readers suggested that the cars belonged to a parts store specifically dedicated to ToyotMR2. But their website lists only two cars that are in analysis.
In May, in Chelyabinsk, local residents found 56 brand new ToyotCamry sedans in the forest, which had not driven anywhere for about five to six months. They were purchased by the leadership of the region for the summits postponed due to the coronavirus. After the uproar, the authorities of the Chelyabinsk region distributed some of the cars to medical institutions and social services, and with the remaining cars they renewed the administration's vehicle fleet.
