There is no limit to human fantasy. Especially in cases where a heightened sense of justice is at work at the same time. Or, at least, a desire to properly teach someone who is behaving inappropriately. Unfortunately, the methods of "people's avengers" who want to point out negligent or careless motorists that they are wrong, often run counter to the law themselves. Therefore, we sincerely hope that this collection will not become a guide for you to "educate" your neighbors. Let's live in peace!
Polyurethane foam in the muffler

US resident Aaron Robinson is faced with an unexpected "modification" of the exhaust system of his beloved Ford Mustang. His neighbor, dissatisfied with the loud growl of a sports car, caulked the Mustang's muffler with polyurethane foam and left a note in which he demanded to install a quieter exhaust. He took 14 days to fulfill this condition, while pointing out that the foam in the muffler was only the first warning. The injured car owner, who told about the incident on his Facebook, sincerely wonders why such radicalism: after all, this could have been asked without foam …
Polyurethane foam is everywhere

Polyurethane foam is used not only in the United States as a weapon of revenge on motorists. In 2018, in Volgograd, using this material, unknown persons sealed all the cracks and openings on the new SkodKodiaq crossover. Most of the damage was done to the doors and the bonnet, but some material was enough for the trunk.
Photos of the car near the house on Zhukov Avenue appeared in the public “Volgograd. Online . At the same time, judging by the photo, the car was parked on the sidewalk. This is probably what caused the discontent of the person who decided on such a trick.
Toppling to the side
In the summer of 2018, a black Hyundai Solaris turned upside down in one of the courtyards of the Kupchino district in St. Petersburg. Apparently, the driver simply parked very unsuccessfully, blocking the passage along the pedestrian path with the back of his car. "People's" sanctions followed immediately. And if the glass and tires of the car remained intact, then the body repair could not be avoided …
Arson
The owner of the BMW X6, who parked the crossover on the lawn near the playground, was damaged by the disgruntled neighbors: the car was simply burned. The incident took place in Astrakhan in the courtyard of a residential building, and was recorded by a video surveillance camera.
The fire happened at five o'clock in the morning on January 6, 2014. At the same time, it is impossible to attribute the fire to a short circuit in the electrical wiring or any other natural causes: the record clearly shows how people approach a car standing on the lawn, generously water it with some kind of liquid and for some reason sit at the wheel. Then the car is quickly engulfed in flames.
The fire damaged not only BMW, which burned to the ground, but also Toyota, which was standing nearby, which had nothing to do with it.
Supermarket trolleys

The owner of this Peugeot 308 couldn't find a spot in the supermarket parking lot in Buenos Aires, so he left his car in the trolley storage area. The store employees did not like this very much, and they used the place for storing carts for its intended purpose, barricading the car. However, one can rejoice for the owner of Peugeot: the car did not receive any visible damage.
Trench under the car

Volkswagen Touareg, parked in Moscow near the Ostankino television center, right under the monorail, fell into a real trap. The reckless owner left the car at the site of the alleged excavation. Road workers were not taken aback and dug a deep trench right under the car - so that it became impossible to leave the place of the "eternal" parking lot without the help of a tow truck with a crane or some kind of solid flooring. At the same time, many inscriptions were left on the dirty body of the Tuareg, including the eloquent “we warned”.
Rooftop car
A Chinese resident decided to abandon his car at a bus station in Hubei province. We dare to assume that he greatly regretted it. After all, the workers of the car company did not want to put up with such impudence, they drove a truck crane and moved the car to the roof of a neighboring building.
The crane operator won the most. After all, the bus driver had to take off the car later! Interestingly, the incident at the bus station was far from the only one. Chinese residents regularly fight against improper parking by moving intruders onto the roofs of buildings …
Traffic light with microphone
An experiment to educate drivers who use the beep too often was launched by the Mumbai police. For this purpose, noise level microphones were installed at the five busiest intersections in the city. Once it exceeds 85 decibels (the maximum permissible level), the traffic light does not switch from red to green. Instead, a new countdown begins, and the warning "The more you signal - the longer you wait!" Is displayed on the board installed next to it.
Scarecrow with radar

A resident of the UK has come up with a way to deal with drivers who drive past her house at too high a speed. To her credit, she did not use illegal methods.
71-year-old Edie Pope simply made a policeman's dummy with a radar in her hands from improvised means and installed it on the road near her home. Pope got the idea to put the scarecrow after the third accident that happened on her street. Prior to that, at the request of the pensioner, local authorities installed signs on the street that reduced the permissible speed from 60 to 40 miles per hour. However, the new restrictions did not stop the reckless drivers. But the dummy in a reflective jacket with a dummy camera worked - the drivers really began to drive more slowly.
Bonus: punishment for "spoiling"

A peacefully parked car can get serious damage not only because of the actions of the courtyard "avengers" who are fighting traffic violations by means of lynching. By the way, it is quite possible to bring them to justice for damage to other people's property. If you can find it, of course. But the car owner from the Nizhny Novgorod region went further and demanded compensation from a person who fell onto his car from the 11th floor.
According to the press service of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Court, a drunk resident of the city of Bor in November 2018 jumped from the balcony of a multi-storey building and landed on a car standing below. At the same time, the man received numerous injuries, but remained alive. The car could not be restored.
The car owner was not satisfied with this state of affairs. He went to court and collected 73,305 rubles from the culprit towards the cost of the car. Also, the surviving man must pay legal costs - about 14,000 rubles. For some reason, the court refused to compensate the motorist for moral damage.
