The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia recognized illegal fines for ignoring the signs "Working days", which were issued during the period of validity of "non-working days" from March 30 to April 30 and from May 6 to 8, 2020. This was reported by Kommersant.
- The Moscow authorities have the opposite opinion. The Moscow Department considers non-working days to be non-holidays, so it issued fines during the special regime. The Ministry of Internal Affairs announced that they would be canceled if the drivers appeal against the ruling.
- The “Working days” sign is most often installed on dedicated lanes for public transport, as well as together with the “No parking” signs. In addition to the capital, such signs are used for dedicated lanes in St. Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don and Kazan. In Moscow and St. Petersburg, the fine for violating the instructions of these signs is 3,000 rubles, in other cities - 1,500 rubles.

The "non-working days" regime in Russia was introduced to combat the spread of the coronavirus. In most regions, only stores with groceries and essential goods, as well as vital enterprises, functioned. The heads of different regions also introduced various measures to restrict traffic, including digital passes.
