Video: Europe Was Left Without A Lad

AvtoVAZ has completely stopped delivering Lad cars to the EU countries. This was reported to Gazeta.ru by the brand's distributor in Europe - the German company LadDeutschland.

- The last batch of Lad cars was shipped to the EU in March, and no more deliveries are planned. The reason was the new strategy of Renault, which owns the Russian automaker. As part of the savings, the management decided not to invest in the refinement of the Lad engines to meet the new environmental standards. Now in the budget segment in Europe, the alliance will offer only the Dacia brand.
- A spokesperson for LadDeutschland said that rumor has it that Lad will return to Europe in three years. However, he believes that this is hardly possible.

Recently, Lad4x4 SUVs and the flagship Vesta family have been on sale in the European Union. Now in the German warehouse there are several West in standard configurations, and other cars have been sold to European dealers.
One of the last buyers of the new Lada in Europe was the former Formula 1 and German DTM Touring Car Championship driver Ralf Schumacher, the younger brother of the seven-time Formula 1 champion Michael Schumacher. He bought a Lad4x4 Urban SUV and, after modifications, began to deliver his own brand of wine on it.
