Volkswagen has shown the first teaser of the updated Arteon model, which is the flagship passenger car in the brand's European lineup. A station wagon will be added to the liftback, which has been on sale since 2017.

• The restyled Volkswagen Arteon will receive two front bumpers (standard and sporty R Line) and new rims, and the headlights will be connected by a thin diode strip. At the beginning of the year in China, photo spies filmed an all-terrain version of the station wagon with a body kit made of unpainted plastic, but it is not yet known when it will debut.
• Volkswagen will equip the Arteon with the latest version of the MIB3 multimedia system with internet connectivity and over-the-air updates. The adaptive cruise control of the novelty will be able to take control for a short time at speeds up to 210 km / h.
• The premiere of the updated Volkswagen Arteon and the Arteon Shooting Brake station wagon will take place on June 24. It will be held online.

At the end of 2019, Volkswagen certified the Arteon liftback for sale in the Russian market. The documents indicate that the model will be supplied with two-liter petrol turbo engines with a capacity of 190 and 280 hp, with front or all-wheel drive and only with a seven-speed robot with two clutches. However, sales of the model in Russia did not start.
