Since June 1, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has expanded the operation of the state programs of preferential car loans "First Car" and "Family Car". A new program has also been launched that can be used by medical staff. As part of state support, buyers are provided with a subsidy of 10% of the cost of a new car (25% for residents of the Far Eastern Federal District), which is credited towards the payment of the initial loan installment. We will tell you what has changed.

  • the maximum price of the car is increased up to 1.5 million rubles;
  • the Family Car program can be used by families with one or more minor children;
  • preferential car loan is now available health workers of state medical institutions, while they do not have to fit the conditions of the current programs;
  • a discount is also provided for purchases through trade-in. In this case, the rented car must be over 6 years old and be in the possession of the current owner for at least a year;
  • will now be able to participate in state programs electric cars at a price of up to 1.5 million rubles - a 25% discount is provided for them;
  • from July 1, programs will apply only to vehicles with electronic OB van;
  • you can get a 25 percent discount in the Far Eastern Federal District only if you have registration at the place of residence or temporary stay in the district.

7 billion rubles have been allocated for the updated programs of preferential car loans in 2020. Until June 1, state support programs had stricter requirements: state subsidies were provided only to the buyer who purchased a car for the first time, or to families with two or more minor children, and the car should not have cost more than 1 million rubles.
