Land Rover Designer Draws Chinese Haval SUV In Gelika Style

Haval has released the first official image of the new SUV with an internal factory index B06. Initially it was assumed that this is the second generation H5, but representatives of the Chinese brand said that this is not true: the model will become the founder of a new line.

• The angular novelty with round headlights in the style of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class was drawn under the direction of Haval chief designer Phil Simmons. Until 2018, he was Director of Exteriors at Land Rover. Simmons is the designer behind the Range Rover Velar.

• Spy shots of the interior of the Haval B06 have surfaced recently. The model has a washer instead of the traditional gear lever, volumetric ventilation deflectors and unusual monitors. The dashboard has a visor that resembles another display, and the multimedia screen is rounded on one side.

• The start of sales of the Haval B06 in China will take place in November, and the premiere of the first model of the new line will take place in the summer. Then the name of the new item and its technical characteristics will become known.
