At the beginning of the year, we already collected a selection of Soviet and early Russian cars that surprisingly preserved their pristine condition by 2020. As it turned out, such cars are found much more often than you might think: if not among advertisements for sale, then among happy owners bragging about a successful purchase. Therefore, we have compiled a second selection of artifacts from the distant past - with minimal mileage, in factory paint and in a “fly didn’t sit” condition.

Moskvich-2137

On the territory of the USSR in the second half of the seventies, such a "Moskvich-2137" in a spectacular "cypress" color was very desirable. In order to basically buy a new car, you usually had to wait in line for several years. Or at least a year, if you are lucky enough to be a representative of some "privileged" category like agricultural workers. And the station wagon is even rarer than the sedan, and completely outrageous deficit.

However, in the West, such a "Moskvich" could well lie dormant. According to the current owner of the car, who bought it in 2018 in Italy, this 1978 Moskvich was imported by an official importer in the Apennine Peninsula, but never found a buyer.

There are only 70 kilometers on the car's odometer. The new owner equipped the station wagon with original, Soviet-made wipers and an antenna for the radio. Those that came with the car have mysteriously disappeared over the past decades.
