Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the restyled E-class two-doors. The coupe and convertible have been updated in the wake of the sedan and wagon, which debuted in early spring.

• The restyled coupe and convertible have new headlights, lights, bumpers and larger radiator grilles. The models received a fresh MBUX multimedia system with two 10.25-inch displays (for a surcharge, screens will be with a diagonal of 12.3 inches), native voice control and navigation with augmented reality. The steering wheel, as on the updated sedan, now has double sensor spokes.
• The modified cruise control has learned to slow down in advance before a traffic jam, and the plug-in autopilot is able to continue driving after stopping for one minute. All-round cameras show the car from the side, and the automatic parking function is now able to park the car not only parallel and perpendicular, but also in an empty open area with markings.
• Two versions of the new Urban Guard anti-theft system monitor the situation around the car, and in the event of an impact in the parking lot, an attempt to break into or evacuate, an alert will be sent to the owner's smartphone. It will indicate the extent of the damage and its location.

• For the convertible, the AirScarf system is available as an option, which supplies warm air to the neck area through the air ducts in the front seats, as well as an AirCap deflector on the windshield frame and an automatically retractable windscreen at the rear - they maintain the microclimate and reduce air turbulence in the cabin.
• Gasoline modifications received 48-volt starter-generators, which give off recovered energy during acceleration. With four-cylinder turbo engines (from 194 to 258 hp), the power of the electric motors will be 14 horsepower, and the 367-horsepower "turbo-six" is equipped with a 22-horsepower electric motor.
• The coupe and convertible are also available with diesel engines - two-liter with 194 hp. and 340-strong three-liter. All motors are combined with a nine-speed "automatic" and rear or all-wheel drive.

• The top version for two-doors remains the Mercedes-AMG E 53 modification, which has not changed technically. It is equipped with a three-liter inline "turbo-six" with a capacity of 435 hp. (520 Nm), 22-horsepower starter-generator, nine-speed "automatic" and all-wheel drive. The coupe accelerates to 100 km / h in 4.4 seconds, the convertible in 4.6 seconds. The top speed is limited to 250 km / h, and with the optional AMG Driver's Package - to 270 km / h.

In Russia, the updated Mercedes-Benz E-class coupe and convertible will appear in late summer - early autumn. The cost of new products will be announced at the start of sales.
