Just two years after the premiere, the fourth generation Hyundai SantFe crossover will be seriously updated. The Korean automaker revealed the first teaser of the SUV and talked about its main innovations.

- After restyling, the SantFe radiator grille will become the width of the entire front part of the model's body, and the LED running lights will receive a T-shape. Hyundai believes the new front end has made the model unmistakable even from afar.

- Judging by the spy snapshot of the interior, the Hyundai SantFe also has a new center tunnel with a push-button automatic transmission control, like the last Sonata. Joysticks will appear on the climate control unit instead of washers.
-
Thanks to the upgraded platform, SantFe will receive hybrid modifications - soft, with a powerful starter-generator, as well as with the ability to charge batteries from external sources. But in the lineup there will also be traditional options with gasoline and diesel engines.
- More information about the updated SantFe at Hyundai will be revealed in the coming weeks. It has already been announced that the crossover will go on sale in Europe in September 2020.

In Russia, the current Hyundai SantFe is offered with a 200-horsepower 2.2 turbodiesel and two gasoline aspirated engines - a 2.4-liter with 188 hp. and a 249-horsepower 3.5 V6. The initial cost of the crossover is 2,194,000 rubles.
