As a result, the cars were sold out within 24 hours from the moment they started accepting pre-orders.

- The hot hatch had the suspension lowered by 10 millimeters (the ground clearance is 133 mm), 18-inch wheels were installed, each discs lightened up to 9 kilograms, and brakes with brake discs increased from 335 to 360 mm and four-piston calipers in front.
- The front-wheel-drive MINI John Cooper Works GP is equipped with a two-liter turbo four with 306 hp. (450 Nm), eight-speed "automatic" and self-blocking on the front axle. From standstill to 100 km / h, the hot hatch accelerates in 5.2 seconds, the maximum speed is 265 km / h. The standard MINI John Cooper Works has a 231 hp 2.0-liter turbo engine. (320 Nm) to accelerate to "hundreds" takes 6.3 seconds with a maximum speed of 243 km / h.
At the same time, the Russian price of MINI John Cooper Works GP was never published. In the UK, it is asked for £ 35,345 (3.06 million rubles) versus £ 25,960 (2.25 million rubles) for a 231-horsepower MINI JCW without the GP prefix. In Russia, a standard MINI JCW costs 2.2 million rubles.
