The Chinese concern SAIC has begun deliveries to dealerships of the city electric car Baojun E300. It features a very unusual body design and minimalist interior. The Car News China portal told about the new product.
The four-seater Baojun E300 has a two-tone and two-box body that rests on tiny 12-inch wheels. The car has retractable door handles and stylish LED headlights and lights. In terms of dimensions, the novelty turned out to be even smaller than the two-seater Smart Fortwo - the length of the Chinese electric car is 2625 mm versus 2695 mm for Smart, the width is 1647 versus 1663 mm, the wheelbase is 1750 versus 1873 mm. At the same time, the novelty surpasses Fortwo in height by 33 mm (1588 mm).
In the base, the hatchback will be three-seater, like the copy in the photographs, and for the fourth seat you will have to pay extra separately.
The Baojun E300 power plant uses a 39 hp electric motor. (110 Nm) and a battery with a capacity of 16.8 kWh. The tiny hatchback has a top speed of 100 km / h and a power reserve of 260 kilometers without recharging.
In China, sales of Baojun E300 will begin in late May - early June. Prices will be announced closer to the start of sales.
