In Chelyabinsk, local residents found a parking lot with 56 ToyotCamry sedans near Lake Smolino. According to the portal 74.ru, cars stay in the forest for at least five to six months.

• A large batch of black ToyotCamry sedans was purchased by the Chelyabinsk authorities for the SCO and BRICS summits. Some of the events were supposed to take place at the end of May 2020, but they were postponed indefinitely due to the coronavirus pandemic.
• Almost 120 million rubles were spent on the purchase of 56 copies of ToyotCamry for the summit: 1.97 million were given for each sedan. According to the tender, they are equipped with 181-horsepower 2.5 engines, rear-view cameras and sun blinds, the interior is trimmed with leather.
• Sedans are awaiting the opening of the summits on the territory assigned to the Chelyabinsk Regional Rehabilitation Center: after being registered, they were separately driven into the forest and left in the open air. The regional government will decide what to do with the cars in the second half of the year.
