Video: The USA Will Restore The World's Longest Limousine

Florida-based Dezerland Park auto museum owner Mike Manning has bought a custom Cadillac Eldorado called American Dream for restoration. The car is listed in the Guinness Book of Records as the longest limousine in the world. Manning told Motor1 about this.

-
The American Dream was built in the early 1990s by customizer Jay Orberg. He fused together two 1976 limousines. The resulting machine was 100 feet (30.5 meters) long. The car has 26 wheels, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, golf course and helipad. The car retained two engines and a steering wheel.
- The longest limousine took part in various exhibitions, after which it changed owners several times. It has survived to this day in a deplorable state: from long-term storage on the street, the body rusted, some of the wheels disappeared, and someone broke half of the windows.

Mike Manning moved the American Dream limousine home from the Autoseum training facility in New York State. In his museum, restoration work has already begun: employees welded the front and back parts, and also started repairing the center inserts. Mike hopes to complete all work in the spring of 2021.
