AvtoVAZ Patented The Names Of Three New Models

Rospatent has published documents submitted by AvtoVAZ for the registration of three new trademarks - Forta, Kayn and Tensa. They are listed in the categories "cars" and "toys".

• The new names were issued both together with the Lada brand and separately. Fort is translated from Romanian as "strength", Tens from Spanish for "time" and Kayn is a Scottish feminine name meaning "the name of the saints."
• It is not yet known whether AvtoVAZ will use the new names for future models.

AvtoVAZ also has other brands in stock for a different list of goods, including cars. In 2012, the names LadFortuna, Ladoga, Svoboda, Slavi and Quanta were registered, and three years later - Binar, Antiga, XRave, XCite, Excide, X Path, Expira, Intrig and Preosa. In 2016, the automaker issued the name Kvest. AvtoVAZ also entered the trademarks LadOnega, Kam4atka and Xray X into the register of Rospatent.
